'Howaru and the Baby Eater' tells the story of a Polynesian demi-god returning to his birth island after ten years of self-exile. During his absence, a monster has been terrorising Kafiki island kidnapping and eating hundreds of slave children, including the son of his former lover. The chiefs of Kafiki have now asked for Howaru's return to kill the Baby Eater and to bring balance back to the land.
