House Braedon is a newly founded minor power in the feudal world of Lestrid. After the doom of house Markad, House Braedon is cast away to toil away on a fringe island of the continent. They have nothing to their name and are thought to not last. Baron Mael, however plans to lead his house to prosperity, and avenge his half-brother's lost house. As he says, though house Morkad may have burned to the ground, "An enemy can still choke on ash."
