In the far western corner of the world called Antryion, was a land and nation called Hoshikuni, known to be the land of intellect, progress, and most notably, magic. Although governed by the ever so wise Ten Seat Council and protected by the greatest officers of the Murikami Order, everlasting peace continued to be a faint dream to those who knew its history. Ten years had passed since the Great Rebellion of 347 set Hoshikuni into turmoil. Although they were ultimately defeated, the pain and suffering of the past continued to haunt the people of today. Some learned to accept and move on and hoped for this peace to last longer than the last, while others remained fixated and trapped in the past, choosing to live through questionable means. Mysteries surfaced as illegal drugs rose in rate and children went missing left and right, with situations happening inside the Kagemusha Research Center and the ordinary streets people walked on. Strange events which might uncover a larger plot that shall entangle the lives of the citizens, whose once peaceful everyday life akin to a slice-of-life story were slowly being flipped upside down.
