Upon moving to a school in a seemingly remote city, Anne or so she is called becomes friends, or is basically forced to be friends with, the school's popular "group" but something about the way they act makes her suspicious, along with this, she seems to have developed a slight attraction to a particular person in the group. When she finally hopes for a not-that-terrible ending, her past comes knocking on her door. Literally. At this point, all she can do is curse at herself for even trying to hope in the first place.
