Alex one of the last supersoldiers of a crumbling empire is sacrificed as his commanders try to escape. This leads to both his and all to his remaining forces to be annihilated. However this is not the end as his past exploits lead to him gaining the attention of the gods and lead to him being sent on a new journey though a fantasy world.
