In the spring of 1986, a young prostitute, desperate for a fresh start, moves to a rural town in Minden, Louisiana after purchasing a small, run down house.  Upon discovering her pregnancy while beginning renovations, she is determined to make her new home as warm and thriving as possible for her unborn child. When she stumbles upon a strange video game in the attic of the house, she must do everything she can to ensure the safety of her new family—before it is too late.
