They were locked in shackles and trapped in chains, they were all broken in some way, whether it be the mightiest of warriors or the meekest of babes, they all possessed the same looks in their eyes. Despair. Fear." This is a story principally centered on the trials of a young man and his people as they fight for freedom against their oppressors.  I understand this synopsis is vague so I implore you to read the first chapter and see if you like it. The story will develop as I write it and while I have some ideas as to its general structure, there is nothing concrete so that is the reason for the vagueness. As G.R.R.M said, if you know what you're going to write, writing becomes boring.
