Synopsis
In the halls of Minos, King of Crete, a boy is born. His mother named him Helle, a son to be feared by gods, his father Icarus, a son destined to live following in his brother’s footsteps. But Icarus has neither the wit of his father nor the beauty of his mother. After he meddles with the divine destiny of a son of Pasiphaë, he is banished to an island with only his father and his music as companionship. For all that Icarus lacks in the eyes of mortals he makes up for in bravery, an attribute that is viciously alluring to the gods. But there is danger for a mortal who dares to test the gods, and Icarus finds himself forced to make an unfathomable choice: the mortal family he was born from or the divine lover he holds dear.
