Synopsis
A Princess' Plea to the Heights of Aevum
[HIATUS NOTE - I'll update this story if I find the time but I am focused on The Rise of Chaos series first and foremost.]
Seemingly cursed to a life of pain and despair, Princess Eve lived out her days in Aloria hidden away from all. Servants treated her as if she didn't exist and attendants bullied her whenever they were bored.
Life hadn't always been like this. But, Eve can't remember when things had changed, or why. Shadows seem to crawl through the palace halls. A darkness has been festering deep in the foundations of the kingdom. At least Eve has one person who seems to care for her, a maid named Lily. Everything changes one night and Eve is forced to come to terms with the truth about her existence.
---
Forever shackled to manage the fates of mortals, Goddess Klotho toiled eternity away in the divine realm. The pantheons of Gods, including her very own sisters, mocked her capricious control of her powers.
Life had been like this for a long time. Klotho's memories of warm embraces and hearty laughs were blurry and unreliable. In a place made of stardust and aetherial light, only despair and sorrow were willing to comfort the wayward goddess. One day everything changes and Klotho's very existence is imperiled.
A Princess' Plea to the Heights of Aevum is a journey of self discovery and lamentation toward the cruelty of Fate.
Heights of Aevum is a standalone story I've been outlining for awhile as something to break my attention away from my main series grind, The Rise of Chaos.
I'm aiming to mix up the genre away from action-adventure that series is, to something more somber and dramatic. (It is not a LitRPG) I hope you find this series to be just as gripping and appealing, but at the same time completely distinct.
AI Note: Cover art has been produced through a mix of AI output using stable diffusion models and many manual edits by me using digital freehand. I 100% commit to having an artist commissioned to redraw the cover art if I ever make this story a commercial product. (As with my other stories, I do not use AI to write my content)
