The woman’s slender eyebrows knit together at the sound of Tao Shen’s voice. She waved her jade like hand and soon enough two black clothed men appeared before her.
Her clear enchanting voice contained a trace of coldness as she commanded, “Throw them out! From now on the Bloodstone Mercenaries are forbidden from entering this Xu Ya Inn or use our Jia Auction House!”
Without blinking the two men’s body flashed and gathered the ten bloody figures before throwing them outside the Inn, Tao Lin and Tao Shen followed soon to. The later was now covered in blood to and no one knew if he was still alive.
“Big Brother Fen, are you alright!” Xu Ya walked to Su Fen with hurried steps.
Su Fen shook his head and smiled, “I’m alright Sister Ya, it’s all thanks to Brother Yun.” He gesticulated towards Qing Yun.
Qing Yun cupped his hands together, “Sister In Law, this younger brother has long since heard about your graceful name. Now that I see you with my own eyes I couldn’t more sure, you two are a pair made in heavens, if Brother Fen and Sister Xu Ya don’t end up together, I’m sure we will anger some divine being!” He eloquently said. He could see that Xu Ya’s feelings for Su Fen weren’t lesser than the later’s for her so Qing Yun didn’t hold anything back.
At his words, Su Fen’s face became flushed, but surprisingly so, Xu Ya didn’t show any bashfulness, she rather puffed her large chest and smiled cheerfully. She seemed very pleased with Qing Yun words.
“It’s Big Brother Fen’s blessing to have a younger brother like you. Mn, Su Fen’s brother is my brother, you can call me Big Sister Xu Ya from now on.” Xu Ya said puffing her chest.
At this moment the beautiful woman came to, she seems to have spoken some words to her two subordinates.
Her rosy lips formed a smile as she spoke to Xu Ya, “Little Sister Ya, didn’t uncle requested to speak to Su Fen?”
“Ah!” Xu Ya seemed to have remembered something, “That’s right, Big Brother Fen, Father wants to speak with you.”
Su Fen seemed surprised but soon he shot an awkward glance at Qing Yun. The later waved his hand nonchalantly and smiled, “It’s alright Brother Fen, we can drink another time. I to have gained some insight from the earlier fight so I want to get back to cultivate.”
Su Fen nodded looking somewhat apologetically. The two of them then disappeared on the flight of stairs leaving Qing Yun together with the beautiful woman in the center of everyone’s attention. He glanced at her just to see a glimmer of curiosity in the lady’s eyes as she intensely stared at him. Realizing that they weren’t introduced yet, Qing Yun smiled awkwardly.
Seeing Qing Yun’s awkward and somehow meek appearance, the lady covered her mouth with her slender hand and chuckle lightly. Thinking back to Qing Yun domineering appearance from earlier, she had a hard time putting them as the same person.
Her clear voice sounded beside Qing Yun ear, “You should be Qing Yun, right? I’m Jia Xinyi!” She extended her jade like hand.
“Oh?!” Qing Yun eyes lit up as surprise flashed through them, but soon he understood. He heard from Su Fen that the biggest authority in Tianlong City was the Jia Auction House. With their prowess there is no one in this region that can offend them. Even so, there are still groups that like to throw their weights around because the Jia Auction House doesn’t involve itself in the conflicts for power as they choose a neutral position. With their information network it wouldn’t be weird if they knew about Qing Yun.

Without any reservation, Qing Yun extended his hand and shook the lady’s under numerous gazes. He opened his mouth however an odd expression appeared on his face before any words could come out. Glancing at Jia Xinyi’s smiling face, a trace of expectation could be seen in her dreamy eyes.
At this moment, Qing Yun completely disregarded the cold feeling that penetrated his very bones as his mind was focusing solely on Jia Xinyi’s jade-white eye. A thought flashed through his mind leaving him completely baffled. He couldn’t help but laugh bitterly inwardly, Is this place a nest of monsters?! Su Xiuying and Qing Su were already enough, but now appears another one?
Although he was surprised, he didn’t show it on his face as he looked at the lady before him and smiled meaningfully, “It’s an honor to have such a beauty know my name. I’m indeed Qing Yun, I hope elder sister won’t find me offensive!”
Jia Xinyi started. Although her countenance didn’t show any change, Qing Yun could see a trace of disbelief in her eyes. It was clear that she expected a whole different reaction.
Seeing her reaction, Qing Yun chuckled, “Jia Xinyi, I think this little brother may need to ask you some favors in the future, I hope you can take care of me when the time comes. Also if you need help with that body of yours, you can find me at Su Clan, I may be able to do something about it!”
Pffft!
Qing Yun didn’t concealed his voice, so naturally everyone in the hall heard his words. Wine was spit out by several people as they shot astonished looks at Qing Yun. Some raised their thumbs and gave him approving nods.
This guy dared to say such shameless words so brazenly to the young missus of the Jia Auction house?! Damn, if he’s not an idiot, he has balls of steel! They all thought the same thing.
Qing Yun didn’t bother to explain his words as he turned around and walked out with his hands behind his his head leaving behind a bewildered Jia Xinyi. A pondering expression was plastered on her graceful face.
…
Back at Su Clan, Qing Yun was subjected to unending questions before finally convincing Qing Su that he wasn’t injured. He didn’t know whathever to laugh or cry, words really travel fast. It seems they knew about the incident even before he got back.
Inside his room, Qing Yun was seated crosslegged on the bed. His eyes were closed as his mind was replaying the fight from earlier again and again. That fight completely exceeded his expectations.
After pondering for a while, Qing Yun finally got an answer that made him elated.
“Spiritual sense!” His excited voice left his mouth almost involuntary.
A Symbol Master’s sense of perception is way higher than ordinary cultivators because they posses this spiritual sense. It could be said that without the spiritual sense one wouldn’t be able to become a symbol master as it’s an important element when using symbols to create formations and arrays.
Now that he found out that he possessed the spiritual sense there was no need for Qing Yun to test anything else. He had already meet the requirements to become a symbol master.
The next step would be to open his Soul Hall inside his Niwan Palace and form the Spiritual Gates. Just like creating a solid foundation in one’s cultivation, this step was also very important as it will decide the future achievements of a symbol master.
Usually, one will have the help of their master when proceeding with this step. However Qing Yun was very knowledgeable and there would be no problem opening his soul hall by himself. Even so, he didn’t get to it immediately.
Opening the soul hall and forming the soul gates was basically laying the foundation as a symbol master and a very important step for one’s future. Just how cultivators use cultivation techniques there are also soul techniques for symbol masters, however the only difference is that these soul techniques are not essential for one to become a symbol master, they are also like feathers of phoenixes and a horns of dragons, almost inexistent. Actually, Qing Yun was sure that in the five continents, he was the only person who possessed such techniques, and this was thanks to his Gate of Knowledge.
With such a treasure in his hands how could Qing Yun be willing to become an ordinary symbol master?! Without delaying anymore, he gave in to his excitement and immediately sent his consciousness inside the Gate of Knowledge to search for a suitable soul technique.
