Kay, a perennial loser and jobless wanderer, was on his way for another fruitless attempt at his endless job hunt, as usual, accompanied by his motorcycle friend. Midway through their journey, however, his companion suddenly died from old age, leaving only Kay with a broken heart and stranded in a faraway place.  Engulfed in grief and pain, along with a bit of determination to find a proper grave for his motorcycle friend, Kay decided this was the end of their journey-the disappearance of a legendary pair. He headed back, pondering where he would sleep for the night. But just as he was about to bring his motorcycle friend's corpse back to their hometown... A seemingly wise and mysterious cat appeared out of nowhere, without a word giving him a strange stone that shone brightly, like a beacon of hope. The moment he touched it, a blinding light column engulfed the world—at least, that’s what he saw. And for some reason, when he opened his eyes again, the world seemed... somewhat different.
