Mr. Hessler, a meticulous man, confronts his wife's suspected infidelity in a park. As he observes her, a supernatural entity called Haglin offers his services to the man. As the Haglin finishes his deed, Edna, an unassuming witness, escapes the park with something that belongs to the entity. Now, both Mr. Hessler and Haglin give chase to poor Edna.
