In a history very similar to the one you may know, the destiny of humanity was changed by the most dominant tool of warfare: The Mech. World wars and conflicts were frequent and deadly, and nations were lost and formed as fast as the factions that controlled them. The year is now 21XX and those who wield the Mechs (or Combative Armored Vehicles) dictate wealth, power, adventure, resistance and freedom.  Cameron 'Cam' Downes had a promising career as a C.A.V. pilot (or 'jockey') until a dispute with a commanding landed him in a series of dangerous situations he could have never expected.
