In the world of Sumeru, a princess is born under the falling star and a mother that wishes upon it for a child with skin white as snow, hair black as ebony and lips red as the rose. However, the mother would soon die from complications during birth and her husband would marry the lady by the name of ‘Rose Red’, and a new queen would be crowned and a new mother. Several years in the future, three strangers visit the world and present to the new queen a magical mirror to curry her favor, a mirror capable of otherworldly magic. When the queen asks the very object who is the fairest of them all, the queen is told it is ‘Snow White’, her step-daughter that shares her nickname with Rose Red’s sister, Snow White. Years of jealousy and rage buried deep then resurface that case the queen to go down a path of evil. Using many of her treasures in her collection, Rose Red sends out a huntsman and Snow White on a hunting trip while using the Hand of Midas to turn her husband into gold and create a massive army of golden golems with. The huntsman accompanies Snow White into the forest and plans to kill her but the sudden and unexpected arrival of the elves causes his demise as well as Snow White’s escape. The child then escapes into the forest and comes across a band of seven dwarves and their faithful robotic cat companion by the name of; Puss in Boots. When the dwarves return home, they refuse to keep the young Snow White at first and seek to cast her side but their close minds soon open when they see the beauty and potential within the child that they adopt as their own. Meanwhile, Rose Red turns her attention to her sister’s armies and begins a war to take over the world of Sumeru. Several years in the future, the queen learns of Snow White’s survival and sends assassins to kill her as well as the seven dwarves that end up successful, or so the queen thought. A few days later, Snow White storms her former home and comes face to face with her wicked step-mother that bites on an apple before a final showdown ensues. Snow White wins the battle and the evil queen loses. However, death is not an end for the wicked queen who returns in the end for the apple she bit on was the apple of death, an apple that would give her a second chance; to return to the world of the living once again with veil of death…
