They created vehicles faster than horses, machines that flew higher than birds, and even strived to create vessels of steel capable of holding a human soul, allowing people to live forever as subconscious minds within eternal, beautiful machines. Huey and Charlie were captivated by these tales, and both dreamed of bringing even a fraction of that world's wonder into their own. But it wasn’t as easy as they had imagined. However, after Huey gained an authority—a power beyond the system that allowed him to infuse his will into objects—during one of his usual dungeon crawls, they realized they might be able to achieve much more than they had ever thought possible.
