Synopsis
Destiny Grace Barlow is the chosen one. She has been for as long as she can remember. Her life is filled with action, adventure, and the occasional apocalypse, but the life of a hero isn't for everyone. After all, saving the world isn't exactly the most well-paying career and it's difficult to maintain a day job with the constant bombardment of supernatural creatures insisting Destiny solve their problems for them. That's why Destiny has decided to become Grace instead, denouncing both her first name and prophecies all together. This doesn't stop the prophecies from coming, of course, it just means that Grace refuses to fulfill them. Her roommate, Oliver, is usually the one who gets stuck doing the hero work for her. There is one prophecy, however, that refuses to be ignored, and Grace can't run from fate forever. She has a choice to make: accept her destiny once and for all or hope that she can get by looking the other way. The life of a hero isn’t for everybody, but maybe Grace has just enough Destiny left in her to be the chosen one one last time.
