On one fateful Thanksgiving, a little girl named Paige is stuck raking leaves since her father couldn't be bothered. It's the first Thanksgiving where Paige's mother hasn't joined them due to unfortunate circumstances. Since this is the first Thanksgiving they've prepared for alone, Paige's father is of course unprepared, and even brings a goose instead of a turkey for dinner! Given that her father is such a mess Paige deep down is frustrated, but can't express herself, until she is for reasons beyond her control, forced to confront her feelings by a golden leaf hanging from the branch of their tree.
