The Kingdom of Evangarde has had its disputes with the Arowin Legion for many decades. Countless wars have led to needless bloodshed, and the havoc wrought seemed to never end. The secluded and peaceful settlements of Kadarak have an overwhelming array of talented magic casters, whose powers differ from the Kingdom's advanced technology and the theocratic Legion's divine might. However, the great wizards of Kadarak took too lightly the forces with which they dealt, and a great tragedy occurred. A summoning ritual gone-wrong had brought forth a boy of unknown origins, yet at a great cost.
