What looks like a hardy, self-sustaining cycle can rapidly come crashing down with the introduction of an invader. With special resources and tools honed for a different land at their disposal, just a handful of individuals from an invasive species can be the beginning of the end for an ecosystem unready for them. And what is a whole planet other than a large ecosystem? In the year 2048, a drone operator and his AI companion find themselves in a land most fantastical, one fit for pen and paper table-top games. This world, filled with phenomena that defy logic, is looked upon with great curiosity by the daydreaming man and the cold machine. This world wasn't ready for them.
