Synopsis

November 1, 1997 The following is a collection of letters found in the woods of Saskatchewan, Canada. They were written in 1993 by an unknown author who claims to have witnessed several supernatural entities alongside their family members. These scattered letters were found between July and September, 1997 by a group of hikers, who have chosen to remain anonymous. It is unclear if the supernatural entities mentioned in these letters pose any legitimate threat, as in the 4 years since, no mentions of any such creatures have been seen. Several experts have explored the Saskatchewan woods in the time the letters have been found, only to be met with a lack of findings as well. The most likely cause for the narrator’s reason for writing is a rare case of hysteria, potentially experienced by the entire family. These letters are not to be taken with sincerity or with any ounce of validity. While the letters contain “information” about how to survive in these woods, such tips should be taken with a grain of salt. The discovery of these letters piqued the interest of many individuals, both professional and civilian. Due to the rough state of the papers and their contents, the files were digitized for better preservation. The documents can be found below.
