Oskar was born into a poor family of farmers who lived in the southern plains of the Empire near the border with the Kingdom of Kerth. At the age of 12, a particularly harsh winter left the Empire in famine and as a result bandits became increasingly active until one cold evening Oskar’s village found itself under assault. Oskar’s life gets uprooted as he is forced out of his simple life and into a harsh reality. Follow his story as Oskar struggles to survive and search for meaning and reason in the world.
