Ming's whole life had revolved around two things: his school team and basketball. But when he and his second string team lose a streetball match in humiliating fashion, his perception of playing basketball is put into question as he is made to take an indefinite break from the team he held so dear.  Now forced to play basketball on a rundown court, Ming tries to relieve his frustrations when he meets the enigmatic Ximin and Yunhai, the legendary Ghost Handles himself.  Together, they improve by playing on the streets of Nanning, growing through their middle school to high school years, rising through the ranks of the rough street ball courts and eventually, reconciling and discovering their reasons of why they play basketball.  An anime style basketball story.
