It is the Seventh Age in the reckoning of the elves, the Age of Pax Dei, or God’s Peace. The strife and violence of the ages past have been long forgotten and are little more than myths and legends. However, cracks are forming under the surface during these peaceful times. The peace is fragile and harshly enforced by oppressive laws. Many are left out and cast aside and seek to spark an upheaval that threatens to bring back the violence and strife of ages past. Artek Genovian has been trodden on and mistreated his whole life. When a job goes wrong, he decides to stand up for himself, and finds himself hunted by powerful men. He soon finds himself wrapped up in a plot that threatens to bring the world’s first age of peace to a violent end. Soon, the young man, angry with the world and how unfair it has been to him, will be forced to decide which side he stands on.
