Synopsis
Aurora has always been a little different. People avoid her because she just seems so odd, like she doesn’t see the world the way they do -- mostly because she doesn’t. Her ability to see what most would call auras has led her into some unusual situations - not the least of which is her relationship to her best friend, Quinn. After all, Quinn’s aura has a strange line of no color in the middle - a pattern Aurora has never seen elsewhere.
Quinn has some trust issues. The only person they truly trust is Aurora, and only because she has never lied to nor betrayed them. Besides, they grew up with her. She understands them better than they do, and they recognize that she’s not like others. So it’s without any doubt that they accept her words when she tells them that something is going to happen soon, and it’s with complete trust that they listen when she says that the place they’ve landed isn’t safe.
