Synopsis
Remember Redwall?
That world is long, long gone.
The cities are falling. The forests disappear. Corporate warfare is rife across the continents. The climate storms grow too great for animals to survive, even in the cities that are left. Ziggurats--massive pyramid megastructures built from endless strip-mined stone, are the only thing that will survive the destruction of the climate apocalypse.
And the animals that own those Ziggurats, rule this dying world.
Space is at a premium. The stars are out of reach. Technology stalls, plagues appear in the deep liminal halls of the Ziggurats. Roving war bands take what they can. And across the world, market demand is clear.
The richest animals will build colony ships. They will reach for the stars, if they can. They will take their resources with them.
And they will leave everyone else to die.
Fund-Hedge is a story inspired by the world of Brian Jacques' Redwall.
It takes place on an Earth populated by sentient woodland creatures; mice, rabbits, squirrels and badgers, moles and the like.
