In the distant future planets are brackish and desert-like. The Misted are an alien race who can provide a service called the Refresh which miraculously brings life back to dead worlds by their mere presence. Fume of the Misted species has been sent to a planet called Trip E (EeE) after his home planet was destroyed. Upon finding out where Fume is living an alien race called the Xenons terrorize the inhabitants of Trip E in an effort to force Fume to Refresh their planet, Xenonia. After nearly a decade of Xenon presence on Trip E Fume realizes that he must either help the Xenons or place his friends and loved ones in danger. Forced into close quarters with a young woman Xenon named Aggelos, proves harrowing. Will he find a way to work with her or will his prejudice get him killed?
