Eran Merce is a fruit vendor in a fief located southwest within the Edalian Empire. Silas Lucero is the supposed hero who saved the world once from an apocalyptic event. Their meeting begins with a series of unfortunate accidents, costing Eran's fruit cart more than once. To Eran, Silas Lucero has done nothing but cause him misfortune ever since he arrived in the county. Much to his dismay, his dream of an idyllic life as a merchant is dashed when he gets wrapped up in the hero's adventures unwittingly. What happens next?
