This story starts in 47 AD, it the roman invasion britain. The roman legions with their warmages are trying to conquer the tribes of the islands and destroying the order of druids. Caught in between the clashing forces our protagonist Lonan loses everything only to get a new shot at life through a fortunate encounter with an ancient phoenix.  This story takes place in real historic events but includes fantasy elements such as magic, but trying to follow actual events. This is my first attempt at writing and english is my second language. This is also a first draft with no release schedule.
