Massive cargo ships, among police and military presences, roam the stars, traversing between systems virtually instantly by means of magnetic fluctuations, charged through a ship's velocity when it reaches the Forward limit. Enabled to travel between "nearby" systems, colonization has spread human influence, and personal greed, through the Milky Way.
