Fractured Divinity follows Amina, a young African woman living in modern America, who battles the invisible challenges of schizophrenia while navigating a world where dungeons and otherworldly forces have existed for 40 years. She becomes part of an emerging class of individuals—those who gain supernatural abilities through divine connections. Amina, unlike the Chosen ones, is given power through her bond with Bemba, an ancient and multifaceted African god of creation. Through this connection, she gains access to a unique system that allows her to level up and enhance her abilities, much like a video game character. As Amina battles inner demons and literal ones that emerge from randomly spawning dungeons, she must also manage the complexities of her divine gifts, including a skill tree, leveling system, and attribute stats like Strength, Dexterity, and Intelligence. Alongside her journey, she uncovers the mystery of the dungeon system, where certain individuals gain extraordinary powers based on divine bonds, while others remain with basic abilities. With her martial arts skills and passion for parkour, Amina embarks on a quest to rise through the ranks, uncover the truth behind the dungeons' origins, and challenge the powerful guilds and the government agency that controls dungeon access. As she navigates the world of guilds, including the feared Delvers Association, Amina begins to understand that her connection to Bemba may not be as straightforward as it seems—and the fractured nature of her divinity might hold the key to her true power.
