After the war, they exist only as skeletons of their former power. Corporations and System Governments now dominate the galaxy. And for trillions of Veterans now out of work, the galaxy has turned into a free for all. Almost everyone is a contractor. Need a ship? A retired military vessel could cost less than a home. Need work? Someone is hiring. Transporters, Miners, Smugglers, Security, Bounty Hunters, Spies, and Assassins, oh my. But no Explorers. As dangerous as everything else sounds, being an Explorer is the most of them all. With space routes already charted, there is no need for explorers.
