A mysterious woman commissions a blacksmith to make her some swords and initially he resists. He doesn't make weapons, trying anything and everything he can think of to get out of it. The woman perseveres but disappears after the job is finished. Months later, a knight escorts him, as he protests the whole way, to the capital city and before the mysterious woman, who is sitting on the throne. The queen of the land has decided that the blacksmith fits into a prophecy that involves the knight, herself, and a few other colorful characters.
