In a world where people receive the class of hero, tasked by the system to destroy the terrible rifts that torment humanity, Ronne is the same as everyone else. Just like everyone he is given unique quests, his on the other hand is a little bit different: save someone's life from eminent death. However, different from his peers he doesn't care about the glories of becoming a hero, as he couldn't care less about the world outside his room.Without any time limit or consequences he actively chooses to ignore such a arduous quest. Yet one day when asked to participate in a expedition to an unknown rift something changes, his system notifies him of a new side-quest: Go into the rift  - Reward: None - Consequence(s): Immediate death - Time limit: 24 hours  Author's note: First of all English is not my native language (although I am considered fluent where I'm from), so there will probably be a lot of things that don't make sense and it's fine as I'm just writing this story to actually learn how to write in the first place and have some fun along the way.
