In a quiet town in France, 29-year-old aspiring painter Julius Laurent experiences tremendous loss with the passing of Lily Barbier, the woman he loved most. Faced with grief and the need to find himself, Julius struggles to find any inspiration in the world to continue painting. Will Julius Laurent ever pick up a brush again?
