Some punk group said that in Italy everything is stuck or broken down and Berto, from the town in the province where he lives, can totally confirm that. In such a boring place the only thing happening seems to be slow and inexorable decay. Then, one day a body is found on the river's bank and that event opens a door to otherwordly visions. Along with Vanni, the town lunatic, and Quintino, the not-so-dead man, Berto will find himself crossing that door. And what he will find on the other side won't quite be what he was expecting.
