This is being writed and published simultaneously with Antorique's Journey. It's the same universe, Nova Orda, a nation when "magic" (really qi manipulation) is prohibited and persecuted post-war. In comparison with Antorique's story is very much gloomy and lack the comical side. We are in a prison in the capital of Nova Orda, after all.
