Grant had just turned 16 and was ready to start his journey in life to pursue his goals and dreams! Fate had something else in store however, because as he took his first step, a message appeared in the back of his mind that would turn not just his life, but the lives of every native inhabitant of his world, on its head. [Congratulations, your world has been chosen by the Gods and Goddesses as the destination for the inhabitants of Earth and their new VRMMORPG game Fate’s Glory.] When the system went to assign him his functions as a normal, forgettable, NPC for the new game, it failed. In a desperate move to resolve the issue the system wanted to erase Grant from existence, but a mysterious figure saved him from his fate. The mysterious figure not only saved Grant from being erased, but it also decided to altered his fate. How? Why? Grant didn't get the answers, but that didn't matter; all he wanted was to regain what he had lost. The figure, in a bid to assist Grant, gave him the abilities of not only an NPC but also a player.  Armed with the abilities gifted to him, Grant sets out on his journey to free his world from the enslavement of the gods and goddesses and rid his world of the 'players' swarming over from Earth. Note: The main character - Grant - is just a regular inhabitant of the world that is commandeered by the Gods and Goddess so he will have to learn the ins and outs of how the game works.
