The worlds this fiction is set in are beautiful and dark, and have a tendency to go to places where they shouldn't, but that's part of the charm. It adds a bit of gritty realism to the fantasy, despite the ridiculous situations, Or so I think, but I feel it fits and I like it. So there's that.
