Thousands of years ago, the creators of the universe, the Elder Things, were overthrown by the seven new gods. The Elder Things were thrown into the Void and the seven gods reshaped the universe into their own. One day, the Elder Things reawakened and terrorized the reshapen universe. When one of the seven pondered upon a way to combat these deities, he noticed that the souls of deceased warriors were resonating within the stars. These warriors were gathering strength and would possibly be exalted into godhood. He devised a plan: to brainwash these warriors and turn them into heroes who could fight the Elder Things.
