Uncle Argyle is dead, and his property has been left to his estranged nephews; Dimitri, Harry, and James.  But old Argyle left them more than just that. After all, although he may have had some fantastical stories, he was no liar. Finding themselves lost on an Earth straight from their uncle's stories the trio will have to find a way to survive when faced with monsters, magic, and the vocal kinds; intelligent species far from human as they attempt to find a way home. And although the Rose family never expected to find themselves here, it would not be true to say that they were not expected by others. Although the weird stuff won't appear until after chapter two (02), rest assured that it will be there, especially once the story gets into full swing. Aside from that I just wanted to say that this will be my first proper dive into writing, with the small goal of posting on Royal Road to write at least two 2,000 to 2,500 word chapters a week. As this is a bit of an experiment, I'm more than open to any and all critique and questions, and plot-hole pointers in the comments (so long as it's posted with constructive intent of course) and will be reading and replying to advice, critique, and questions on each chapter within the first week of posting it (so long as you're not asking for spoilers).  Again to reiterate, although I've written for myself and for Uni, this will be my first go at writing for others, and although I am confident I can write something better than decent, I hope to make something truly enjoyable with the help of your thoughts.  ( :
