Society is held together by expectations, that when you go the supermarket there will be food on the shelves. Modern society is simply the path of least resistance. The machine of life has become very complex; a monstrously large monolith of media, military, superstores, energy and manufacturing.  When you take away electricity, you change the path of least resistance. With the monolith of society fractured and crumbling our protagonist finds a new path in the outskirts of Dublin, Ireland. Will humanity destroy themselves or will a new life come from the ashes. Watch him as he trys to not just survive in this new world, but to rebuild it.  This fiction has a focus on the wartime survival of the protagonist during the first arc.
