Nermeyer's greatest creation punched a hole into its universes firmament and grabbed two hundred and fifty-six souls from the space between universes. It assigned each one of these souls a unique fragment that grants each user their own unique system. These souls were then sent in small groups across the world of Hernal. One of the two hundred and fifty-six was a young man and aspiring engineer from Earth named Everett he alongside a fallen princess, a slothful spell stick, and a local guide with a thirst for knowledge tackle the world of Hernal. This is their story as they interact with the local powers and other members of the 256 all the while exploring their own unique systems and gaining power among this land of levels. --- Nexus here! This is my entry into the LitRPG scene so this is what you can expect from this story, first of all: much LitRPG yup we actually have 257 unique systems here if you count Hernal's general system that all native Hernal inhabitants get access too. of course, we will only be going into depth into a few of these mostly in the main cast, but they are there. that's still like 256 more systems than your average litRPG right? Anyway, enough joking around there will also be multiple PoVs. While I know several authors who use this fall into the trap of giving PoVs for characters that we don't particularly care about or don't interact with the main character for like 100 chapters and at that point the reader has completely forgotten about them. Personally, I will be doing my best to avoid that but feel free to let me know if I fall into a pitfall like that when writing multiple perspectives. Just a warning our main character Everett isn't going to be a direct combatant his system really isn't geared towards that role and that also goes for our female lead to an extent. This is not to say that Everett won't become powerful in his own right but it’s not going to be through punching. So don't expect him to be turning tock wolves into paste within the first few chapters. Our friendly spell stick on the other hand... Also, just a fair warning to readers the weakest aspect of this story is definitely going to be the dialogue so please tell me if you have any improvements you would add in that area.
