Lucas, a seemingly ordinary college student is transported into the world of a school-assigned book as an antagonistic side character, Caelus Ferros, second son of the king, who is famed for their nasty personality. At any rate, Lucas should work to improve his reputation, fast, as Caelus is supposed to die in the beginning of the story. Then again, that seems a rather easy task to accomplish, seeing as thankfully, Lucas' personality doesn't match Caelus'. Yet not everything is as it seems to be. As he continues to live in Caelus' skin, and receives flashbacks of Caelus' past, Lucas comes to realize Caelus was more a person to be pitied than hated.
