Synopsis
The empire of Aegia is the greatest nation in the world. Mages flock to its universities to learn from the best, its armies are unbeatable, and the iron will of the grand nobility keeps everything running smoothly. But under the surface cracks are starting to show; the aging empress is childless, several factions of nobles are vying to take the throne after her death, on the streets are whispers of common folk demanding rights, and in temples across the country young clerics speak in hushed voices to eachother about a new way to interpret the will of the gods. Aegia is a single spark away from conflagration.
And that spark is coming in the form of two orphaned nobles seeking to avenge the the destruction of their House and a young swordsman with a mysterious past.
