He hated it, his name, his identity and his entire life. Pain was what he was, his identity, his sense of self. Without it, he'd have no idea of who he was. Expect, he wanted to be more, no matter what that meant for him. He'd give up anything, even his name.  Emancipated out of Fostercare, Gabriel Childs finds himself taking the last gift of his broken grandmother and traveling to the small town of Orion's Gate, hoping for a fresh start. Only as it so often is, things do not go as planned. Death, danger, and a growing calamity builds in the town's shadows.  Not really caring about the town, he is dragged into the search for answers and what he finds would shape him forever.
