While his party is on their first demon-slaying mission without their master, Naji is kidnapped by a demon faction. This is incredibly embarrassing and he never wants to face his master--who is kind of a bxtch--or his parents--actual icons of the demon-slaying world--ever again. Worse, he's thrown in a cell that contains one of the most powerful demon kings in this region. He's not strong enough to escape on his own, but working with the demon king carries it's own risks. Still, there's not much else he can do. Hopefully, the pact they make keeps him safe long enough to get back to his family.
