Goaded into a reckless path of destruction, The Sorceress rises through the ranks of a deadly competition, only to be stopped by the Wizard who originally mentored her.  Unwilling to back down, and equally unwilling to kill her mentor, she instead sleeps for over a hundred years, choosing to outlast her competition.  And when she awakes, the world will again feel her misdirected wrath.  For, by then, who will be left to stand in her way? The answer will lie between the two societies that rose up in her absence: one moved by diligence to prepare for her return, while the other remained content to enjoy her absence.
