Synopsis
The Continent of Falora has been split in two and has been for as long as the people of Indrus and surrounding human nations can remember. The context for the severing long since lost, the forest which borders most northern human lands and The Thicket within it are the only reminders the Fae were ever there. Aside, of course, from the Beldams.
Darcyra Blackmyre is one such Beldam, living her life separated from the Fae but still touched by them. The white scar in the centre of her chest, a customary reminder of a Fae bond long forgotten. Shunned by her mother, living with her Aunt Olira a fellow Beldam, Darcie longs for a life filled with adventure, and to taste something unknown. Just as she almost did.
When adventurers return with tales that not all is well in the Fae lands, Darcyra feels a tug at a long forgotten deal. It is dangerous to say yes to the fae, dangerous to say no and most dangerous to ignore them when they call to collect a debt. Now it is her turn, to walk into the forest, and return to where it began.
