Throughout their university life Matthew, Tomas and Theo have stuck together. However, they have now reached the end of their time as students and might soon have to go their separate ways in life. Before they do though, Tomas wants to play a new game that has managed to break the barrier between the real world and the virtual world. Theo and Matthew are reluctant due to the shady technology used to create this groundbreaking experience, but ultimately decided that they would stick with Tomas. Theo and Matthew's apprehension is quickly proven right when they get trapped inside the game and will only be able to leave if they reach and defeat the final boss of the game.
