This story follows Grom, a veteran who has served as an Imperial Battlemage for 10 years. After being led by an inept commander and losing almost all of his friends he becomes disillusioned with the reality of life in the army and sets out to forge his own path in life!Author Note: A long time ago I had started another novel on here but after a combination of losing inspiration and feeling self-conscious I took it down. I didn't really like that I did that so I started this one. I'm hoping that by taking inspiration from my own life and experiences I can write at least a decent story but I'm always open to criticism. It's gonna be pretty long all things considered but I hope that I can entertain at least a few people with Grom's story.
